For the first time, Sam­son will be exhibit­ing the group‘s entire valve engi­neer­ing exper­tise on a joint booth at this year‘s Achema. The trade show will take place in Frank­furt am Main, Ger­many from 11 to 15 June 2018.
The com­pa­ny will share booth C74 in hall 8.0 with its sub­sidiaries Cera Sys­tem, Leusch, Pfeif­fer, Ringo Vàlvu­las, Star­line and Vetec. Exhibits will include sys­tems and prod­ucts to con­trol all kinds of media. The com­pa­ny will demon­strate its core com­pe­tence in valves (globe, three way, rotary plug, axi­al, ball, but­ter­fly, gate) as well as actu­a­tors and smart field units – for today‘s and tomorrow‘s mar­kets. In addi­tion, a pilot set­up of an Eth­er­net in the field solu­tion will be on dis­play to show how devices can be inter­con­nect­ed on the field level.
In close prox­im­i­ty to the main booth, the firm will be exhibit­ing valves for the phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal and biotech mar­kets togeth­er with its sub­sidiary SED (booth F85).
On top of that, the firm will par­tic­i­pate in the joint booth orga­nized by Zvei, Namur, Dechema and Vdma (hall 9.2, booth D41) as a con­tri­bu­tion to the focal top­ic of flex­i­ble production.
Smart sys­tems by Sam­son reshape process automation
In hall 11.1, booth C85, the com­pa­ny will exhib­it dig­i­tal solu­tions designed to advance decen­tral­ized valve intel­li­gence. Sam Dig­i­tal Hub, a state-of-the-art dig­i­ti­za­tion and automa­tion plat­form by Ubix that oper­ates on the cloud-based ’soft­ware as a ser­vice’ approach, makes it pos­si­ble to log, save, process and exchange all data in process automa­tion sys­tems. Oth­er pilot setups will demon­strate pio­neer­ing appli­ca­tions for IoT and Indus­try 4.0 envi­ron­ments. Smart field units serve as hubs in net­worked valves and their con­nec­tion, for exam­ple to SAP‘s Asset Intel­li­gence Net­work (AIN).
