For the first time, Samson will be exhibiting the group‘s entire valve engineering expertise on a joint booth at this year‘s Achema. The trade show will take place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 11 to 15 June 2018.
The company will share booth C74 in hall 8.0 with its subsidiaries Cera System, Leusch, Pfeiffer, Ringo Vàlvulas, Starline and Vetec. Exhibits will include systems and products to control all kinds of media. The company will demonstrate its core competence in valves (globe, three way, rotary plug, axial, ball, butterfly, gate) as well as actuators and smart field units – for today‘s and tomorrow‘s markets. In addition, a pilot setup of an Ethernet in the field solution will be on display to show how devices can be interconnected on the field level.
In close proximity to the main booth, the firm will be exhibiting valves for the pharmaceutical and biotech markets together with its subsidiary SED (booth F85).
On top of that, the firm will participate in the joint booth organized by Zvei, Namur, Dechema and Vdma (hall 9.2, booth D41) as a contribution to the focal topic of flexible production.
Smart systems by Samson reshape process automation
In hall 11.1, booth C85, the company will exhibit digital solutions designed to advance decentralized valve intelligence. Sam Digital Hub, a state-of-the-art digitization and automation platform by Ubix that operates on the cloud-based ’software as a service’ approach, makes it possible to log, save, process and exchange all data in process automation systems. Other pilot setups will demonstrate pioneering applications for IoT and Industry 4.0 environments. Smart field units serve as hubs in networked valves and their connection, for example to SAP‘s Asset Intelligence Network (AIN).
