The Schleupen.CS platform facilitates the conversion for gas suppliers with many, largely automated processes in the course of the market area merger on 01.10.2021. The adaptation of the processes and formats is very far-reaching and affects both network operators and suppliers. On the other hand, the deadlines for implementation are tight. Schleupen AG accompanies the merger and will provide all necessary formats and processes at the given time, so that the gas suppliers in the Schleupen customer group can start in the new, uniform market area well prepared.
The merger of the market areas means a profound change for gas suppliers, regardless of whether they are suppliers or network operators. For there is not only a new market area and a new market area manager, but also new balancing groups. The changes therefore reach deep into contract billing, market communication and energy balancing. Schleupen.CS gives the responsible parties the opportunity to enter the new market area manager and the new balancing groups in due time. Afterwards, the process for changing the master data is automatically generated for the supplier. At the network operator, the change of master data is processed automatically.
Also by means of an automated process, the non-converted contract partners are determined at the network operator and the further processes are started. This means that Schleupen.CS users will be ready for the new, uniform market area in Germany by 01.10.2021, on time and with relatively little effort, and can benefit from the advantages of the merger. The fact that overlaps between the market areas will be eliminated and participants will only have to be registered with one balancing group will also result in procedural simplifications. In addition, the trading centre will be decisively strengthened by the merger.
“It was important to us to make the changeover as simple as possible for the supply companies. In doing so, we were able to benefit from the modern architecture, which makes our platform very flexible.”
- Dr Volker Kruschinski, CEO
In the long run, only platforms that are flexible enough due to their architecture will be able to keep up with the high speed of change in regulation and provide the corresponding, new procedural steps and formats on time. The fact that the conversions for the market area merger gas could be implemented quickly and on time proves that the Schleupen.CS platform is on the right track.
