SPIE has been ensuring the smooth operation of the properties on behalf of Siemens Real Estate since 2004.
“The successful partnership with Siemens has grown continuously. As SPIE, we are proud to accompany Siemens Real Estate into a climate-neutral future with our technical services and digital solutions. In doing so, we always focus on the satisfaction of our customer — be it in the development of solutions in the area of digitalization and energy efficiency or in the area of occupational safety. The two companies both pursue very high standards and strive for technical excellence. We also transfer this to the safety and health of our employees. That’s why we jointly set high safety standards in our collaboration and work consistently to achieve our goal of zero accidents.”

The company oversees a large part of Siemens Real Estate’s sites across Germany, with 950 employees responsible for operations management, property management, maintenance and warranty tracking, energy management and controlling of infrastructural building management at Siemens sites. They also provide company fire departments, operate control rooms and are responsible for conference room and lock management. “We are very proud of the renewed contract extension and the trust that Siemens Real Estate has placed in us for many years. We will continue to support Siemens Real Estate with high quality and efficient solutions,” says Stefan Schusterschitz, member of the division management and head of the Key Account Siemens business unit of the Efficient Facilities division at SPIE Germany & Central Europe.
Innovative strength a prerequisite
Siemens Real Estate is committed to forward-looking partnerships. Therefore, SPIE is committed to strengthening the innovative power of the technology group with the development of efficient, digital and modern facility management solutions. “Looking to the future is a high priority for us. That’s why we offer our partners the opportunity to receive a further extension through innovation projects during the term of the contract,” explains Fabian Telke, Head of Contracting and Services at Siemens Real Estate in the Hub Germany. “We have also included this passage in the new framework agreement with the company and are convinced that we can implement exciting innovations here together with SPIE. Already in the past years of cooperation, the group has always convinced us with its high quality and solution orientation.”
SPIE is continuously developing new use cases in the field of digital transformation together with partners and customers. “In order to better cover our customer’s requirements and improve our collaboration, we have, for example, developed an intelligent data analysis platform especially for Siemens for the evaluation and presentation of FM data,” says Stefan Schusterschitz. “By intelligently linking and evaluating existing data from facility management, we can more efficiently detect correlations but also deviations in our operational processes.
It enables us to react to events in good time, map services transparently and ensure the provision of the best possible service quality for our customers. In addition, the insights gained provide our customers with the basis for sound business decisions. In this way, our ‘FM Analytics’ tool can help to ensure efficient building operation, for example by optimizing the availability and consumption of technical systems on the basis of data,” explains Andreas Queißer, project manager for digitalization in the Key Account Siemens business unit.
