The Spreespeicher event location in Berlin is a great place to toast — no matter what the occasion. The former industrial building, an old granary, is located directly on the banks of the Spree not far from the East Side Gallery with a view of the Oberbaum Bridge, which connects the trendy districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
On a total of 2,000 square meters, guests are catered for indoors and on the Spree terrace by in-house catering. For birthdays, gala dinners and unforgettable weddings as well as for meetings and conferences. 400 events with over 40,000 guests take place here every year. Always on the table: a bottle bearing the Spreespeicher logo and filled with sparkling water, freshly drawn by the staff from a water dispenser. Several hundred such bottles pass over the counter every day. They are emptied and have to be refilled immediately. The M‑iClean UM undercounter machine from MEIKO ensures a sufficient supply of rinsed glass bottles. Equipped with a bottle basket, it manages to rinse 16 bottles hygienically clean in just two minutes.
The circulation system with in-house water is part of the sustainable concept of the event location. It enables the provision of high-quality drinking water with short distances. Orders from the beverage trade including long transport routes, storage and cooling of water bottles are no longer necessary. The staff appreciates the easy handling of the dishwasher and bottle cage and the perfectly rinsed bottles, which meet the highest hygiene standards. Guests love the sustainable concept and the chic bottle design.
