Shock Absorber Catalogue for Light Vehicles

Ten­neco, a sup­pli­er of Ride Per­for­mance and Clean Air prod­ucts and sys­tems, has issued a new mas­ter cat­a­logue cov­er­ing Mon­roe replace­ment shock absorbers and relat­ed prod­ucts for light-vehi­cle appli­ca­tions. The new cat­a­logue, offered in 10 lan­guages, builds on the company’s after­mar­ket ride con­trol cov­er­age advan­tage for the EMEA region with more than 900 addi­tion­al shock absorber ref­er­ences cov­er­ing in excess of 60 mil­lion vehicles.

The new Mon­roe mas­ter cat­a­logue cov­ers the brand’s expand­ed, “bet­ter-best” range of replace­ment shock absorbers address­ing an array of cus­tomer pref­er­ences and vehi­cle mod­el years.” says Chris­t­ian Claeskens, Prod­uct Man­ag­er, Ride con­trol, DRiV. “The Mon­roe light-vehi­cle range includes pre­mi­um Mon­roe OESpec­trum shocks for cus­tomers who own late-mod­el vehi­cles and/or val­ue supe­ri­or ride and han­dling char­ac­ter­is­tics; Mon­roe Orig­i­nal shocks, offer­ing OE-style qual­i­ty and per­for­mance at a more eco­nom­i­cal price.”

The cat­a­logue also fea­tures Tenneco’s new Mon­roe Intel­li­gent Sus­pen­sion RideSense shock absorbers, designed for direct-fit replace­ment of orig­i­nal equip­ment shocks on vehi­cles fea­tur­ing elec­tron­ic sus­pen­sions. The new RideSense range, sched­uled for mid-2019 launch, cov­ers more than 15 mil­lion pas­sen­ger vehicles.

Ten­neco also has intro­duced 40 addi­tion­al shock mount­ing (MK) and 60 new shock pro­tec­tion (PK) kits that togeth­er cov­er more than 70 mil­lion addi­tion­al light vehicles.

Also includ­ed in the new cat­a­logue is a wealth of infor­ma­tion regard­ing the mul­ti­ple roles of shocks in ensur­ing sat­is­fac­to­ry ride and han­dling char­ac­ter­is­tics as well as rea­sons for replac­ing worn units.
