Pump condition monitoring system

Richter Chemie-Tech­nik demon­strates cloud solu­tions for the Safer­un pump mon­i­tor­ing sys­tem. The Safer­un is a sys­tem which can con­tin­u­ous­ly mon­i­tor the con­di­tion of mag­net­ic-dri­ve pumps. The data is cap­tured by cor­ro­sion-pro­tect­ed sen­sors fit­ted between the can and the can insert.
The rel­a­tive and absolute vari­a­tions in the process para­me­ters are record­ed, eval­u­at­ed and sig­naled. The data is sim­ply and clear­ly dis­played, so that even untrained per­son­nel can appraise the sit­u­a­tion at a glance.
Also, crit­i­cal oper­a­tion con­di­tions which might lead to pump break­down, such as closed shut-off valves, dry run­ning, dam­aged cou­plings and increased tem­per­a­tures are identified.
Although the sys­tem has already led to sub­stan­tial cost sav­ings and enhanced sys­tem avail­abil­i­ty for pump oper­a­tors, we will demon­strate how the Safer­un could bring even more ben­e­fits with new cloud based solutions.
