HIMA, a world-lead­ing provider of safe­ty-relat­ed automa­tion solu­tions, enters into a glob­al part­ner­ship with Man­gan Soft­ware Solu­tions (MSS), a lead­ing safe­ty life­cy­cle man­age­ment soft­ware provider. With Man­gan’s Safe­ty Life­cy­cle Man­ag­er (SLM), the com­pa­ny now offers a TÜV-cer­ti­fied, cloud-based solu­tion for dig­i­tiz­ing the entire func­tion­al safe­ty lifecycle.

Process safe­ty and func­tion­al safe­ty are not just about hard­ware, soft­ware, test­ing and met­rics. Rather, it is impor­tant to take a holis­tic approach and estab­lish a safe­ty culture.

With Man­ag­er, the com­pa­ny offers the end-to-end sys­tem need­ed to achieve this, enabling dig­i­tized life­cy­cle man­age­ment across all phas­es, from ini­tial haz­ard analy­sis through oper­a­tion and main­te­nance to decom­mis­sion­ing. The safe­ty-relat­ed data gen­er­at­ed by dif­fer­ent sys­tems is brought togeth­er in a rela­tion­al plat­form. As a result, safe­ty per­for­mance can be opti­mized in a plant, at a site, or even across the enter­prise. Rel­e­vant safe­ty stan­dards are con­tin­u­ous­ly main­tained and are eas­i­ly ver­i­fi­able for assess­ments and audits.
