New colour printer series

From 23 to 26 Octo­ber TSC Auto ID will pre­sent­ing at Scan­Pack 2018 in Gothen­borg, Swe­den, its first colour print­er series CPX4. Oth­er high­lights at Nordic region’s most impor­tant inter­na­tion­al plat­form serv­ing the pack­ag­ing com­mu­ni­ty are TSC’s new indus­tri­al ther­mal bar­code print­er series MB240 and its ver­sa­tile, robust print mech­a­nism PEX-1000.
With its first indus­tri­al colour print­ers CPX4D as well as CPX4P the Tai­wanese man­u­fac­tur­er sets new stan­dards in the mar­ket. Both mod­els offer indus­try-lead­ing print speed of up to 11.8 ips and excel­lent res­o­lu­tion of 1200 x 1200 dpi in full col­or. They are capa­ble of print­ing bril­liant minia­ture labels of 25.4 mm width and 6 mm length. The main dif­fer­ence in the two avail­able print­ers is that CPX4D uses dye ink while CPX4P process­es pig­ment ink. The ful­ly indus­try-com­pli­ant series pro­vides an effi­cient and eco­nom­ic solu­tion to quick­ly pro­duce cus­tomized label design in-house on demand with­out sac­ri­fic­ing image qual­i­ty or pro­duc­tion time. The mod­els are well-suit­ed for a wide vari­ety of appli­ca­tions includ­ing GHS, Chem­i­cal, Retail or Entertainment.
Addi­tion­al­ly, a major focus at the trade is on the pre­sen­ta­tion of TSC’s brand­new indus­tri­al ther­mal trans­fer bar­code print­er series MB240 whose out­stand­ing fea­tures include small foot­print, big per­for­mance with colour touch dis­play and excel­lent print quality.
Third high­light will be the ver­sa­tile and robust print mech­a­nism PEX-1000. The print engine incor­po­rates a robust die cast struc­ture for years of reli­a­bil­i­ty and is designed for inte­gra­tion with var­i­ous label appli­ca­tors. An intu­itive colour LCD pan­el pro­vides an easy to under­stand menu struc­ture for quick set up and oper­a­tion. With max­i­mum print speed up to 18 ips it is per­fect­ly suit­ed for man­u­fac­tur­ing and logis­tic appli­ca­tions where high speed and high demand label print­ing is required.
Beside the prod­uct nov­el­ties, a wide cross-sec­tion of rib­bons, wrist­bands, receipt paper and labels round off TSC’s trade fair appear­ance.
