OT cybersecurity solutions provider Radiflow Ltd. is collaborating with digitalization consultant and IT service provider performio GmbH. The aim of the cooperation is to make next-generation cybersecurity technologies available to the manufacturing industry and utilities. In this way, these companies can better protect their OT assets and ensure smooth production operations — while complying with the IEC 62443 standard.
Until now, many customers have focused on their office IT and web applications in terms of security — but OT is still not covered. Companies have good reasons for this: Many security programs disrupt processes, and IT managers certainly don’t want to cause delays in critical supply chains, for example. At the same time, OT is often based on old and unpatched systems that offer many attack opportunities for cybercriminals and thus urgently need to be secured. With Radiflow, performio can now address this issue: The solution ensures that there are no interruptions in process chains, while the level of security is successively increased.
No interruption of production and supply chains
When it comes to cybersecurity, many CISOs and cybersecurity teams struggle to properly secure the often complicated web of new and legacy systems on their network. A common practice for IT managers to validate new systems in their infrastructures is to run attack simulations (BAS) in virtual environments. This allows them to understand how an attack could impact their business and define scenarios to best defend against these threats.
Radiflow has launched a cross-asset OT cybersecurity system. The latest version of Radiflow’s CIARA (Cyber Industrial Automated Risk Analysis) can create a digital image of multiple assets on the same user interface. It provides cybersecurity managers with a holistic view of their operations. This version allows Breach and Attack Simulations, or BAS, to be performed in a global enterprise view without interrupting production.
