Measurement technology for the process industry

The Prod­ucts sec­tion show­cas­es sev­er­al inno­va­tions and high­lights with­in a com­plete port­fo­lio for flow, lev­el, pres­sure and tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ment as well as process ana­lyt­ics: Kro­hgne intro­duces the re-newed Opri­flex range of TDR lev­el trans­mit­ters. Just like the Opti­wave port­fo­lio of 6…80 GHz radar lev­el trans­mit­ters was re-newed in 2017, the TDR series com­pris­es six devices, each specif­i­cal­ly designed for a cer­tain area of appli­ca­tion. The Opti­mass port­fo­lio of mass flowme­ters has been sup­ple­ment­ed with large line sizes up to DN400/ 16″, rep­re­sent­ing the high­est capac­i­ty Cori­o­lis flowme­ters on the mar­ket. The com­pa­ny now offers a com­plete Cori­o­lis port­fo­lio for flowrates from 0.3 kg/h up to 4,600 t/h / 0.01 lb/min up to 169,021 lb/min. Pro­claimed for 2018 are also inno­va­tions in Blue­tooth con­nec­tiv­i­ty for con­ve­nient device con­fig­u­ra­tion, bio­gas mea­sure­ment, and clamp-on flow measurement.
The Solu­tions sec­tion fea­tures sev­er­al top­ics where the com­pa­ny offers new inte­grat­ed solu­tions, e.g. Profinet indus­tri­al Eth­er­net com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Cur­rent­ly avail­able for all x400 Opti­mass Cori­o­lis flowme­ters as well for all x300 Opti­flux elec­tro­mag­net­ic flowme­ters, Profinet will sub­se­quent­ly be avail­able for all con­vert­er plat­forms. To demon­strate the use and pos­si­bil­i­ties of Profinet for Achema vis­i­tors, the firm set up a joint demon­stra­tion mod­el togeth­er with Phoenix­Con­tact and oth­er indus­try part­ners. Next to com­mu­ni­ca­tion, sev­er­al oth­er joint mod­els show the scope of the com­pa­ny as a sup­pli­er of com­plete sys­tem solu­tions, e.g. turnkey meter­ing skids for hydro­car­bons or tanker load­ing systems.
