With the new inverse and modular cable entry system KDSI-SR, Conta-Clip offers maximum flexibility and time savings in terms of cable management for control cabinets, enclosures and machines, as well as secure sealing of cables with and without connectors. The one-piece screw frames enable fast and complete assembly from the outside to the inside. The design and the proven simple assembly principle of the KDS range remain virtually unchanged.
The inverse versions feature a mirrored geometry of the frame opening tapers and an additional two-part cover with TPE seals in three planes. This ensures an absolute tight fit of the tapered sealing elements and thus IP66 protection as well as reliable static strain relief in accordance with DIN EN 62444. With this system, too, individual feed-through openings and seals can be reconfigured at any time without effort using the familiar modular click and plug principle.
Both the single, double or quadruple sealing elements and the blanking plugs allow variable configuration with high packing density. The intelligent pitch of the sealing elements with the characteristic serrated edge guarantees simple, precision-fit installation — since there is no need to dismantle and reconnect assembled cables during retrofitting or service work, the manufacturer’s warranty is retained.
The halogen- and silicone-free KDSI-SR is suitable for a wide range of requirements and for use in a temperature range from ‑40 °C to +120 °C. The 10-frames are available immediately, the 8‑frames from August, 6‑frames and 4‑frames will follow and complete the program until the end of 2021.
