At IFH/Intherm (April 26–29, 2022 in Nuremberg, Hall 6, Booth 113), Danfoss will present its portfolio of solutions for intelligent heating in residential and commercial buildings, as well as digital monitoring and control of complete district heating systems. In the residential sector, the focus will be on the Danfoss Ally Cloudsystem. Designed for single-room temperature control in single- and two-family homes, it enables automatic hydraulic balancing that has been certified by TÜV Rheinland as equivalent to hydraulic balancing using calculation-based manual presets.
Danfoss will also present the DanBasic 7 calculation software as a solution for existing systems that still require calculation. In addition, all versions of the pre-assembled UnoFloor distribution stations for floor heating systems will be on display at the booth — from the basic model to the high-end UnoFloor Control variant. Also on show will be the compact EvoFlat Reno residential stations, which can be installed in place of old gas boilers and used in conjunction with a district heating connection or a central heating system with buffer tank.
In the functional building segment, the focus is on the new intelligent HVAC system Digital Hydronics — a modular digital energy management solution for applications in valve dimensions DN15 to DN250. The pressure-independent AB-QM 4.0 control valves (PICV) are precisely controlled via the intelligent digital NovoCon® actuators and integrated into the building automation system via BACnet or Modbus communication. If temperature sensors are also integrated, comprehensive power and energy management can be implemented with little effort. Finally, the highest accuracy of flow measurements (with deviations of less than two percent) is achieved through combination with the sensor-based SONO flow and heat meters — this also allows the exact determination of heat consumption and heat costs to be integrated into intelligent building management systems.
In the district heating area, booth visitors will learn all about the Leanheat product portfolio for planning, simulation, monitoring and control of intelligent district heating systems. In addition, the Villa Stations compact transfer stations for indirect connection to district heating networks and the Akva Lux domestic hot water heaters for direct heating and domestic hot water preparation will be presented. In addition, the new generation of Virtus pressure and flow controllers will be on display, which enable precise hydraulic balancing and thus accurate temperature control in district heating and cooling systems.
