SAP process automation without programming

The solu­tion works com­plete­ly with­out pro­gram­ming. With the help of a web inter­face, ser­vices can be put togeth­er that address func­tion mod­ules, tables or trans­ac­tions on the one hand, in order to use them in the tar­get appli­ca­tion on the oth­er. The SAP com­plex­i­ty is removed by the ser­vices, result­ing in a clean, sim­ple resid­ual ser­vice. Typ­i­cal cloud appli­ca­tions such as Sales­force, Nin­tex, Pow­er Auto­mate, and many more can be con­nect­ed in this fric­tion­less, low-main­te­nance way.

Transaction automation 

The no-code solu­tion enables a gen­er­a­tion of trans­ac­tion automa­tion that picks up users and pow­er users where they feel at home: direct­ly at the SAP trans­ac­tions in which they work. The access works com­plete­ly with­out SAP GUI, no oth­er tool on the mar­ket offers this pos­si­bil­i­ty so far.

Famil­iar work process­es can be record­ed and dynamized, min­i­miz­ing devel­op­ment effort. This approach is also known as Robot­ic Process Automa­tion (RPA). It sig­nif­i­cant­ly reduces the time required for inte­gra­tion projects of this type; ini­tial pro­to­types can be used after only a short time.

Numerous application areas

One exam­ple is the cre­ation of a busi­ness part­ner: Using tools such as Pow­er­Apps or Nin­tex, an input form can be freely designed in which the user enters the name of the part­ner, address and bank data, and oth­er infor­ma­tion. Com­pared to enter­ing data in SAP using mul­ti­ple input masks, the process is great­ly sim­pli­fied and made more user-friend­ly — SAP knowl­edge is no longer required. After sub­mit­ting the form, the post­ing in SAP is ful­ly auto­mat­ed with yunIO with­in a freely selec­table work­flow solution.

“The solu­tion pro­vides ready-made sce­nar­ios as ser­vice tem­plates and thus opens fur­ther doors for resource-sav­ing and effi­cien­cy-pro­mot­ing projects. Mas­ter Data Man­age­ment, vaca­tion request, order release, time-con­sum­ing FI post­ings, inven­to­ry or the onboard­ing of new employ­ees. There are no lim­its to the vari­ety of pos­si­ble use cas­es,” Wohl­far­th explains. “By the way, we were inspired by the Chi­nese word for cloud when nam­ing the sys­tem: ‘yun’. And IO stands for input and out­put. Because that’s our spe­cial­ty: writ­ing data to SAP and extract­ing it from SAP. Now we make that pos­si­ble with SAP process­es as well.”
