Innovative housing solution through ready-to-use command unit

For the pro­vi­sion of indi­vid­ual emer­gency stop but­tons and oth­er con­trol devices, RAFI offers the E‑BOX M12, an enclo­sure solu­tion that fea­tures robust con­struc­tion, sim­ple mount­ing and an extreme­ly slim design. The E‑Box is equipped by the man­u­fac­tur­er with one or two RAFIX FS 22+ com­mand devices and sup­plied ready for connection.

Vari­ants are avail­able with one emer­gency stop or push­but­ton each, with emer­gency stop and push­but­ton (or key switch, sig­nal lamp) as well as oth­er 2‑way com­bi­na­tions of push­but­ton and selec­tor switch­es. The con­nec­tion pro­vides users with a ready-to-use con­trol unit that can be direct­ly con­nect­ed and put into oper­a­tion with­out any wiring effort. With its com­pact dimen­sions of 109 mm x 40 mm x 29 mm, the hous­ing is ide­al­ly suit­ed for mount­ing on 40 mm pro­file rails of pro­duc­tion equip­ment or safe­ty fences.

The mount­ing clip is sim­ply fixed in the pro­file rail groove using a sin­gle-hole screw fas­ten­er, after which the E‑BOX is sim­ply snapped on. It is avail­able in 4‑pole and 8‑pole ver­sions with illu­mi­nat­ed push­but­tons. The emer­gency stop ver­sions have a sig­nal-yel­low upper part of the hous­ing, while the push­but­ton ver­sions have a gray upper part.
