Via mobile radio, NivuLink Micro II provides measurement data from sensors or other data sources. The device is designed from the ground up for outdoor use. The robust housing with protection class IP 68 as well as an approval for EX zone 1 allow the use e.g. directly in the sewer. A HART interface allows the easy connection of sensors also from other manufacturers. For a long self-sufficient use in the field, the device has a high battery life. With an hourly measurement cycle and daily data transmission, this is 7 years.
The manufacturer’s end-to-end IoT concept allows operators to automatically transfer data with visualization and logging capabilities in conjunction with the web portal. NivuLink Micro II is already an integrated component of the manufacturer’s communication concept upon delivery with secure data transmission according to current IT standards. Plug & Play reduces the effort for commissioning. The gateway can also be integrated into an existing customer system consisting of software and hardware. The built-in electronics enable worldwide mobile radio coverage.
Up to 4 universal inputs collect the analog and digital data and supply connected sensors with power for the measurement processes. The operator can define the measurement and transmission cycles himself. The operator also defines the alarms and thresholds individually. A selectable event mode enables shorter cycle times, e.g. when a certain level is exceeded. The device also allows calculation of the flow rate based on level data by means of adjustable Q‑h relationships.
The intuitive operating concept allows operators to commission the system quickly and easily. Changes in parameterization via mobile radio save time and travel costs during operation. As an alternative to battery operation, the gateway can be connected to an external power supply, e.g. in control cabinet operation.
