Industry-specific IT concepts at MedtecLIVE

The IT ser­vice provider Sycor, which spe­cial­izes in the dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion of medi­um-sized com­pa­nies, will be an exhibitor at this year’s med­ical tech­nol­o­gy trade fair Medte­cLIVE with T4M. There, Sycor will present IT solu­tions and imple­men­ta­tion con­cepts that are specif­i­cal­ly tai­lored to the needs of com­pa­nies in the med­ical tech­nol­o­gy indus­try. The focus is on the dig­i­tal­iza­tion of process­es and the inte­gra­tion of appli­ca­tions — prac­ti­cal­ly imple­ment­ed through pow­er­ful, indus­try-spe­cif­ic ERP solu­tions. The trade show is the Euro­pean Trade Fair for Med­ical Tech­nol­o­gy. It will take place from May 3 to 5 at the Stuttgart exhi­bi­tion cen­ter. Sycor will be exhibit­ing in hall 10, booth 10–716.

Under the umbrel­la of the Sycor Life­Science Lab, the IT ser­vice provider bun­dles its com­pe­ten­cies from the areas of ERP and med­ical tech­nol­o­gy: a team of expe­ri­enced experts devel­ops IT strate­gies for med­ical tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­nies and sup­ports cus­tomers through­out the entire process of dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion — from the ini­tial con­sid­er­a­tions in the direc­tion of process dig­i­ti­za­tion to the indi­vid­ual adap­ta­tion and inte­gra­tion of appli­ca­tions to the intro­duc­tion and oper­a­tion of IT solutions.

At the trade fair, the com­pa­ny will show­case IT strate­gies based on SAP and Microsoft Dynam­ics 365 that help med­ical tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­nies meet the spe­cif­ic chal­lenges of the indus­try. Var­i­ous nation­al and inter­na­tion­al stan­dards and reg­u­la­tions, such as the EU Med­ical Device Reg­u­la­tion (MDR) or the spec­i­fi­ca­tions of the U.S. Food and Drug Admin­is­tra­tion (FDA), require com­pa­nies to com­ply with com­pre­hen­sive risk and qual­i­ty man­age­ment, soft­ware val­i­da­tion, com­plete trace­abil­i­ty with­in the val­ue chain and con­nec­tion to exter­nal data­bas­es, among oth­er things.

ERP plat­form solu­tions ensure end-to-end inte­grat­ed process­es across all required appli­ca­tions and func­tion­al­i­ties. Dig­i­ti­za­tion and automa­tion can increase pro­duc­tiv­i­ty, improve com­pli­ance and reduce error rates. In addi­tion, the group offers an indus­try-spe­cif­ic IT solu­tion for the reg­u­la­to­ry-com­pli­ant map­ping of med­ical device files and tech­ni­cal doc­u­men­ta­tion accord­ing to MDR/FDA requirements.
