Bredel Hose Pumps, a division of WMFTG, in Germany represented by AxFlow GmbH, showcases two ranges of industrial peristaltic pumps for high flows: The Bredel Apex pump models are offering long hose life at pressures up to 8 bar. By using tough, abrasive resistant hoses in a variety of materials, Apex pumps combine total fluid containment and extremely low maintenance requirements. Available in five models, the pumps offer flows up to 6,200 litres per hour.
Thanks to extremely low maintenance, Apex pumps offer increased uptime and process continuity, especially when pumping abrasive fluids. They provide significant lower cost of ownership over other pump technologies. Bredel Apex pumps fitted with EPDM hose elements are proving a success in clean-in-place (CIP) applications, easily competing against progressive cavity (PC) pumps, to significantly reduce maintenance costs. Engineered for a more competitive price/performance ratio; Apex pumps higher flows per revolution means they can be run at lower speeds, increasing hose life and process uptime.
The series of heavy duty pumps offers flow rates up to 108,000 litres per hour and pressures to 16 bar. Unlike other pump types, the highly abrasive nature of grit-filled sludge or lime slurry in the environmental market, does not affect hose life. With Bredel direct coupled technology, the pumps combine reliability and low maintenance. The pump series complies with Atex and EHEDG standards and is available in twelve different sizes.
The pumps have a suction lift capability of up to 9.5 metres and are self-priming and dry running. With no check valves seals, membranes, stators, rotors or glands to leak, clog or corrode, Bredel pumps significantly contribute to process optimisation.
