Improved delivery times for industrial gear units

“Indus­tri­al gear units to go” is the name of SEW-EURO­DRIVE’s new pro­gram for short­ened deliv­ery times. This means that the com­pa­ny can now deliv­er its indus­tri­al gear units even faster. Stan­dard gear units of the X..e and P series leave the large gear unit plant in Bruch­sal just five work­ing days after being ordered. Gear units with design mod­i­fi­ca­tions such as spe­cial out­put shafts are ready for ship­ment with­in 15 work­ing days.

Good news for those in a hur­ry: Heli­cal and bev­el-heli­cal gear units of the X..e series in sizes up to 175 kNm as well as the plan­e­tary gear units of the P series up to 360 kNm can now be shipped even faster. The “Indus­tri­al Gear Units to Go” deliv­ery pro­gram makes it possible.

Gear units with­out design mod­i­fi­ca­tions, includ­ing almost all options, are ready for ship­ment after just five work­ing days. In par­tic­u­lar­ly urgent cas­es, such as plant down­times, the gear units can even be shipped with­in one work­ing day.

Gear units with cus­tomer-spe­cif­ic mod­i­fi­ca­tions are also cov­ered by the to-go pro­gram. This means that many mod­i­fi­ca­tions can be flex­i­bly imple­ment­ed, for exam­ple spe­cial out­put shafts or low-tem­per­a­ture prepa­ra­tion. In such cas­es, the deliv­ery time is 15 work­ing days. With the To-go pro­gram, SEW-EURODRIVE is thus set­ting a new stan­dard in deliv­ery times for indus­tri­al gear units and pro­vid­ing its cus­tomers with more flex­i­bil­i­ty in design­ing their busi­ness process­es beyond the func­tion­al prod­uct benefits.
