Higher productivity in Burghausen

The engi­neer­ing com­pa­ny Pörn­er, a spe­cial­ist in mod­ern­iza­tion and revamps for the process indus­try, is start­ing to set up its own branch in Burghausen to sup­port the region’s lead­ing indus­tri­al companies.
At the begin­ning of the year, the Pörn­er Inge­nieurge­sellschaft opened a branch in Burghausen. As a result, the Pörn­er Group is now also avail­able to indus­try in Bavaria as an engi­neer­ing part­ner locally.
At a meet­ing with Burghausen’s may­or Hans Steindl, there were pre­sent­ed the objec­tives of the site to plan and car­ry out impor­tant invest­ment projects of the local process industry.
Ger­hard Bach­er, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor, said: “We are pleased to sup­port our long­stand­ing busi­ness part­ners Bore­alis and OMV in their trend-set­ting projects in Burghausen. As an expe­ri­enced plant plan­ner and spe­cial­ist in mod­ern­iza­tion, we intend to work togeth­er with our sis­ter com­pa­ny EDL Anla­gen­bau on the upcom­ing projects — as usu­al — reli­ably, quick­ly and precisely.”
Claus Roiger, Burghausen branch man­ag­er: “Thanks to mod­ern net­work­ing, the Pörn­er Group has a large capac­i­ty of expe­ri­enced engi­neers. Due to many chal­leng­ing projects, we now offer inter­est­ing work­ing con­di­tions for new employ­ees at the new loca­tion, espe­cial­ly lead engi­neers for EMSR, pipeline plan­ning or machine / appa­ra­tus tech­ni­cians are in demand.”
On the occa­sion of the open­ing Ger­hard Bach­er and Claus Roiger hand­ed over a check of € 1.000, — for the youth work of the city of Burghausen to the may­or Hans Steindl.
The may­or was pleased about the invest­ment in an engi­neer­ing office at the Burghausen site and is con­vinced of the pos­i­tive impact on the region’s indus­tri­al development.
