The engineering company Pörner, a specialist in modernization and revamps for the process industry, is starting to set up its own branch in Burghausen to support the region’s leading industrial companies.
At the beginning of the year, the Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft opened a branch in Burghausen. As a result, the Pörner Group is now also available to industry in Bavaria as an engineering partner locally.
At a meeting with Burghausen’s mayor Hans Steindl, there were presented the objectives of the site to plan and carry out important investment projects of the local process industry.
Gerhard Bacher, Managing Director, said: “We are pleased to support our longstanding business partners Borealis and OMV in their trend-setting projects in Burghausen. As an experienced plant planner and specialist in modernization, we intend to work together with our sister company EDL Anlagenbau on the upcoming projects — as usual — reliably, quickly and precisely.”
Claus Roiger, Burghausen branch manager: “Thanks to modern networking, the Pörner Group has a large capacity of experienced engineers. Due to many challenging projects, we now offer interesting working conditions for new employees at the new location, especially lead engineers for EMSR, pipeline planning or machine / apparatus technicians are in demand.”
On the occasion of the opening Gerhard Bacher and Claus Roiger handed over a check of € 1.000, — for the youth work of the city of Burghausen to the mayor Hans Steindl.
The mayor was pleased about the investment in an engineering office at the Burghausen site and is convinced of the positive impact on the region’s industrial development.
