Gas and liquid applications: Innovative process solenoid valve

In order to be able to respond more specif­i­cal­ly to cus­tomer require­ments, the GEMÜ M75 bal­anced process sole­noid valve is now avail­able in a ver­sion for gas appli­ca­tions and a ver­sion for liq­uid appli­ca­tions. As a result, pres­sure surges can be sig­nif­i­cant­ly reduced, prod­uct ser­vice life is increased and plant safe­ty is enhanced.

Dynam­ic and sta­t­ic pres­sure forces are com­pen­sat­ed via the inno­v­a­tive dou­ble bel­lows prin­ci­ple. As a result, the new valve with the very com­pact sole­noid actu­a­tor can be used for process­es with an oper­at­ing pres­sure of up to 6 bar. The short actu­at­ing times make the valve par­tic­u­lar­ly suit­able for meter­ing steps in mix­ing tech­nol­o­gy. Whether in the chem­i­cal indus­try, water treat­ment, wash­ing and clean­ing plants or elec­tro­plat­ing technology.

Thanks to a wide selec­tion of high-qual­i­ty body mate­ri­als (PP, PVC and PVDF) and her­met­ic sep­a­ra­tion between the medi­um and the actu­a­tor via O‑rings in var­i­ous designs, the new process sole­noid valve ensures reli­able process oper­a­tion — even with aggres­sive media. The com­pact sole­noid valve is suit­able for on/off appli­ca­tions in nom­i­nal sizes DN 8 to 15 (expand­able to DN 20 via an adapter).
