Food Safety Day focused on the requirements of food processing, how risks can be avoided, detected and managed. Sesotec’s experts shared their know-how on the topic of “food safety” and presented participants with, among other things, the range of products and services — from metal detectors and X‑ray systems to software solutions and service packages. In live demonstrations, for example, the innovations for metal detection using artificial intelligence methods were conveyed in a practical manner. Sesotec solutions enable food manufacturers and processors to comply with standards and regulations, ensuring food conformity at all stages of production.
Johannes von Stein, Sesotec Vice President Sales Food, is very satisfied: “The premiere of the Food Safety Day in our showrooms was a great success with many exciting discussions and guests. The goal of Food Safety Day, an initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), coincides with Sesotec’s ambition to raise awareness of the importance of the topic ‘food safety’. We will continue to adhere to World Food Safety Day in the years to come.”
