The Beumer Group is now offering its fillpac FFS form-fill-seal system not only in the high-performance range for throughputs of up to 2,600 bags per hour, but also for lower throughputs of 1,800 bags per hour and more.
The Group develops complete packaging lines for the (petro)chemical industry from a single source. The advantage for customers is that they can minimise unnecessary interfaces or avoid them altogether. They also have only one point of contact. The company determines the optimum capacity of the individual machines and components, including the higher-level control system, so that the customer can achieve a maximum throughput. Now the system provider has extended its line of fillpac FFS form-fill-seal systems in order to tailor them more closely to the different needs of its customers. Users can opt for a filling system in the high-performance range for up to 2,600 bags per hour or a system with a lower output of 1,800 bags and more, as typically used in the fertiliser industry.
Fast product changes
The fillpac FFS underscores the company’s role as a full-line supplier of machinery for filling, palletising and packaging. The system forms a ready-made PE tubular film into bags and fills them with the customer’s engineering plastics like PE, PP, PA or PS granules. Salts or fertilisers can also be handled reliably and gently. The granulates are weighed before the filling process. For this, the fillpac FFS is equipped with an electronic calibration-capable weighing unit. After filling, the system seals the bags, which weigh as much as 25 kilograms each.
