Establishment of a production site in India

In Ghiloth, 120 kilo­me­ters from Del­hi, a state-of-the-art build­ing com­plex for Mul­ti­vac sales and pro­duc­tion with a total of 10,000 square meters of floor space will be built in the RIICO Indus­tri­al Area in the com­ing months. The invest­ment vol­ume amounts to 6.8 mil­lion euros, with com­ple­tion sched­uled for Decem­ber 2022. Ini­tial­ly, around 100 peo­ple will be employed at the site in the state of Rajasthan.

The cer­e­mo­ni­al ground­break­ing took place on Feb­ru­ary 2. Among the invit­ed guests were Ran­jan Dhin­gra (Chair­man Laraon Group), Ruchit Dhin­gra (Board of Direc­tor Laraon Group), C.L. Gand­hi­w­al (Sr. Deputy Gen­er­al Man­ag­er Riico Indus­tri­al Area), Rajesh Manocha (Chair­man Maconns Group) and Bharat Tagra (Direc­tor Col­liers Inter­na­tion­al — Design & PMC). Ritesh Dhin­gra, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor India, Adi­ti Dhin­gra, CFO India, and Sandeep Kaul, Gen­er­al Man­ag­er India, were on hand as offi­cial rep­re­sen­ta­tives from.

The com­pa­ny has had a sub­sidiary in India for more than a decade. The joint ven­ture, which was con­clud­ed in 2009, was an impor­tant mile­stone in the inter­na­tion­al­iza­tion strat­e­gy and for open­ing up new mar­kets in the South Asian region.

The pro­duc­tion area with assem­bly for ther­mo­form­ing pack­ag­ing machines and tray seal­ers as well as the man­u­fac­ture of for­mat sets and molds cov­ers around 5,000 square meters. A sep­a­rate hall area is planned for spare parts and con­sum­ables supply.

The declared goal, he said, is to opti­mal­ly sup­ply cus­tomers through region­al prox­im­i­ty and short­er deliv­ery times. The sales com­pa­ny will also be locat­ed at the same site with a show­room and train­ing and appli­ca­tion cen­ter for pack­ag­ing and bak­ery machines.
