In Ghiloth, 120 kilometers from Delhi, a state-of-the-art building complex for Multivac sales and production with a total of 10,000 square meters of floor space will be built in the RIICO Industrial Area in the coming months. The investment volume amounts to 6.8 million euros, with completion scheduled for December 2022. Initially, around 100 people will be employed at the site in the state of Rajasthan.
The ceremonial groundbreaking took place on February 2. Among the invited guests were Ranjan Dhingra (Chairman Laraon Group), Ruchit Dhingra (Board of Director Laraon Group), C.L. Gandhiwal (Sr. Deputy General Manager Riico Industrial Area), Rajesh Manocha (Chairman Maconns Group) and Bharat Tagra (Director Colliers International — Design & PMC). The company has had a subsidiary in India for more than a decade. The joint venture, which was concluded in 2009, was an important milestone in the internationalization strategy and for opening up new markets in the South Asian region.
The production area with assembly for thermoforming packaging machines and tray sealers as well as the manufacture of format sets and molds covers around 5,000 square meters. A separate hall area is planned for spare parts and consumables supply.

The declared goal, he said, is to optimally supply customers through regional proximity and shorter delivery times. The sales company will also be located at the same site with a showroom and training and application center for packaging and bakery machines.
