Ergonomic actuators

R. Stahl offers a ver­sa­tile range of actu­a­tors for design­ing explo­sion-pro­tect­ed local con­trol sta­tions used in sys­tems and machines. The flex­i­ble prod­uct range includes push‑, mush­room-head, key-oper­at­ed mush­room, lock­ing mush­room, dou­ble-push and illu­mi­nat­ed push­but­tons. The option of equip­ping a sin­gle actu­a­tor with up to four con­tact ele­ments is extreme­ly use­ful and more prac­ti­cal, in com­par­i­son to oth­er prod­ucts in the mar­ket. Along­side but­tons, the port­fo­lio also includes rotary actu­a­tors, key-oper­at­ed switch­es and LED indi­ca­tor lamps. The coloured calottes of the LED indi­ca­tor lamp can be eas­i­ly placed right on the cov­er. The actu­a­tors can be com­bined with a diverse range of label hold­ers and lock­ing devices. The durable actu­a­tors of the 8602/3 series ensure a IP66 degree of pro­tec­tion and are designed for glob­al use in haz­ardous areas. They are espe­cial­ly suit­ed for extreme cli­mate con­di­tions: depend­ing on the design, they remain ful­ly func­tion­al from ‑60 °C to +70 °C. All the actu­a­tors are extreme­ly ergonom­i­cal, they can even be oper­at­ed while wear­ing gloves. Due to the inte­grat­ed cod­ing, rotary and key-oper­at­ed switch­es can be set to the “Latching/spring return” or “Key not detach­able” func­tions with­out addi­tion­al acces­sories. The new range of actu­a­tors can be com­bined indi­vid­u­al­ly with all con­trol box­es. The dif­fer­ent ver­sions of the local con­trol sta­tions are avail­able in stain­less steel or glass fibre rein­forced poly­ester resin. All the com­po­nents and the enclo­sure cor­re­spond to the newest stan­dards and can be used worldwide.
