The pharmaceutical market is currently undergoing massive changes and online business is playing an increasingly important role for many manufacturers. In order to make the right decisions and maximise sales, a reliable database is the most important basis. The start-up Maven360 now offers an independent platform for specific e‑commerce data and market insights in the pharmaceutical industry. It evaluates data on availability, prices, visibility and ratings of over 60,000 OTC products in all relevant online pharmacies several times a day. This includes real-time information on around 670,000 prices and more than 1.5 million search items.
Full transparency on visibility, availability and prices
Maven360 is a powerful toolbox that makes it much easier for sales and marketing staff to recognise connections and dependencies around their products in the online channel. All details are clearly available via an individualised dashboard. Those responsible can see at a glance, for example, in which online pharmacies, at which prices and with which positioning their own products are offered. Historical data on price developments and availability can also be accessed at any time. This creates complete transparency regarding the visibility and positioning not only of one’s own product portfolio, but also with regard to the competition. This makes it clear where there may be a need for action. At the same time, marketing measures and advertising cost subsidies (WKZ) for individual products can be controlled in a particularly targeted and efficient manner. The strengthening of the respective brands and products as well as the data-supported pricing also benefit the business in the on-site pharmacies.

“The Corona pandemic in particular is currently ensuring that distribution structures in the pharmaceutical trade are changing at an even faster pace. Maven360 supports manufacturers in optimising the visibility of their brands in online pharmacies, monitoring price levels at all times and maximising availability. The toolbox enables intelligent marketing decisions, creating the basis for continued success in the online channel.”

The platform can be tailored to individual needs through modules such as “Availability”, “Pricing”, “Management Dashboard”, “Visibility”, and “Content”. Long contract periods are deliberately avoided so that Maven360 can be used flexibly as a cloud solution without a long-term commitment.
