Recently, electricity prices for fossil fuels have been rising, and there could be supply bottlenecks in the supply of natural gas to Western Europe. Energy policy must change course, and not only in Germany. The scientists Professor Dr. Mario Glowik from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin), Assistant Professor Dr. Agnieszka Chwialkowska from the University of West Georgia, USA and Assistant Professor Waheed Akbar Bhatti from Aalborg University, Denmark have jointly investigated to what extent global value chains for renewable energies can be an opportunity for European companies and economies in the fight against climate change?
The team will present its findings publicly on December 2, 2021, starting at 9 a.m. at the Business Economics Brown Bag Seminar. The lecture series at HWR Berlin is an open platform for business administration and related research and for scientific discourse.
Other lectures next Thursday will focus on the acceptance of artificial intelligence, inefficiencies in crypto markets, and diversity on German supervisory boards and boards of directors. The event will be broadcast live online and will be held partly in English. Participation via the Zoom video conferencing system is possible free of charge without prior registration.
