Continuous Pressure Drum Filter

With the Bokela HiBar Oys­ter fil­ter ultra­fine par­tic­u­late sus­pen­sions or very hot, pres­sur­ized sus­pen­sions from reac­tors can be fil­tered and cleaned. This con­tin­u­ous pres­sure fil­ter with cake wash­ing and steam­ing zone is avail­able as a drum fil­ter with fil­ter areas from 1 m² up to 14 m². Max­i­mum oper­at­ing pres­sure is 15 bar, process tem­per­a­tures can reach up to 200 °C. The inno­v­a­tive steam pres­sure fil­tra­tion ensures inten­sive wash­ing of the fil­ter cake and low­est resid­ual mois­ture in a sin­gle process.
For hot and pres­sur­ized sus­pen­sions from reac­tors the Oys­ter Fil­ter is per­formed as coun­ter­pres­sure fil­tra­tion with high tem­per­a­ture and high ves­sel pres­sure but low fil­tra­tion pres­sure dif­fer­ence. This process allows fil­tra­tion of hot sus­pen­sions like crys­talli­sa­tion prod­ucts i.e. sep­a­ra­tion, wash­ing and dry­ing of the solids in one sep­a­ra­tion unit.
The advan­tages of the HiBar Oys­ter Fil­ter are con­vinc­ing in many ref­er­ence appli­ca­tions. The inno­v­a­tive design of the Oys­ter fil­ter is espe­cial­ly made for a high­ly flex­i­ble oper­a­tion, for easy access and easy maintenance.
