Certified control technology for rail vehicles

Now B&R’s X90 sys­tem has been cer­ti­fied by Tüv Süd Rail for rail­road and rail appli­ca­tions. In accor­dance with EN 50155, EN 50657 and EN 45545–2 stan­dards, the mobile con­trol sys­tem can now be used for appli­ca­tions such as light­ing and tem­per­a­ture control.

The X90 prod­ucts are high­ly resis­tant to harsh envi­ron­men­tal con­di­tions and meet high require­ments for elec­tro­mag­net­ic com­pat­i­bil­i­ty. This is con­firmed by TÜV SÜD Rail. In addi­tion, the cer­ti­fi­ca­tion proves the high qual­i­ty of the soft­ware and guar­an­tees a high lev­el of fire safety.

Use under extreme loads

The com­pa­ny has con­sis­tent­ly designed the prod­ucts in the X90 series for use under extreme­ly harsh con­di­tions. The devices are designed to meet the IP69K pro­tec­tion class. They can be used at a hous­ing tem­per­a­ture of ‑40 °C to +85 °C and are insen­si­tive to shock and vibra­tion loads.
