Together with other companies from Rastede, the Brötje company supports Corona safety in kindergartens. For this purpose, 5000 so-called lollipop tests worth around 15,000 euros were handed over to the mayor of Rastede, Lars Krause, and to Fritz Sundermann, the responsible business unit manager.
The donation is intended for the daycare centers of the municipalities of Rastede and Wiefelstede to enable a timely test offer for home use. The background to this is the request by the state government to offer voluntary Corona tests in order to be able to guarantee safety in the daycare centers.
The certified and medically approved tests are designed specifically for children. Unlike the regular versions, they are more convenient to use because they do not require a nasal or throat swab.
“For children in particular, we need to enable mutual contact without increasing the risk of infection for their families. That’s where the lollipop tests are a valuable tool.”
