Atlas Copco wins Red Dot Design Awards

“We are proud to be rec­og­nized with this prize for out­stand­ing design,” said Hen­rik Elmin, Pres­i­dent of Atlas Copco’s Indus­tri­al Tech­nique busi­ness area. “The prod­ucts are designed to be ergonom­ic and pro­vide cus­tomer ben­e­fits by reduc­ing weight, increas­ing dura­bil­i­ty and being more intu­itive and easy to use”.
The Red Dot Design Award for 2018 rec­og­nizes the wire­less sock­et selec­tor, an intel­li­gent report­ing acces­so­ry for assem­bly oper­a­tions in indus­tri­al envi­ron­ment; the ETD 21 and 41, a range of intel­li­gent screw­drivers used for the assem­bly of micro screws in elec­tron­ic prod­ucts and the PF6 FlexSys­tem, a new con­trol sys­tem opti­mized for robot
based automation.
The prod­ucts are designed and man­u­fac­tured by divi­sions with­in the Indus­tri­al Tech­nique busi­ness area.
The offi­cial Red Dot Gala will take place in Essen, Ger­many, on July 9th.
