At Ishida GmbH, the comprehensive reorganization of its sales structure is being driven forward. With Nico Behrens, a person responsible for the direct support of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in Germany, Austria and the Benelux countries has now been appointed for the first time.
Nico Behrens (29) is a mechanical engineer specializing in energy and plant systems and already has extensive sales experience. Before joining Ishida, he was employed by a well-known plant manufacturer in the food industry as an area sales manager with international operations.
“Together with the OEMs, we want to strengthen process understanding,” says Nico Behrens, who is familiar with thinking in systems and complete plant lines. The new Indirect Sales Manager has his eye on the entire Ishida portfolio, from multihead weighers to packaging machines and quality control systems.
“The creation of the position of OEM manager has a signal effect for this important customer group, which now benefits from direct support from a contact person.”
- Oliver Blaha, General Manager
