Acquisition of the Finnish Aava Mobile Group

The Mannheim-based Pepperl+Fuchs Group has acquired the Finnish Aava Mobile Group, based in Oulu, Fin­land, effec­tive Aug. 31, 2021.

The “Mobile Com­put­ing and Com­mu­ni­ca­tion” busi­ness area was estab­lished in 2016 with the acqui­si­tion of Ecom Instru­ments GmbH. The busi­ness with explo­sion-proof, indus­tri­al smart­phones and tablet com­put­ers is to be sus­tain­ably strength­ened by the acquisition.
