DVT regularly used in practice

Since the prac­tice opened in 2020, the ROC Aschheim near Munich has linked these pil­lars of the prac­tice phi­los­o­phy with the promise of offer­ing the most mod­ern, best pos­si­ble diag­nos­tics and ther­a­py from a sin­gle source. Daniel Filesch, MD, a spe­cial­ist in ortho­pe­dics and trau­ma surgery, and his prac­tice advise and treat their patients accord­ing to the lat­est sci­en­tif­ic find­ings and are also active­ly involved in research and teach­ing them­selves. The prac­tice spe­cial­izes in regen­er­a­tive ortho­pe­dic pro­ce­dures as well as surgery avoid­ance. As of March 2022, the Regen­er­a­tive Ortho­pe­dic Cen­ter has an SCS Med­Series® H22 class DVT. We spoke with Dr. Filesch about his deci­sion-mak­ing process and the instal­la­tion of the sys­tem in his practice.

Dr. Filesch first became aware of the device through a post on the BVOU site, after which he also con­tact­ed SCS for in-depth con­sul­ta­tion. The ben­e­fits of SCS imag­ing had quick­ly con­vinced the doc­tor: “The advan­tages are obvi­ous. It’s the extreme­ly accu­rate diag­nos­tics and the out­stand­ing image dis­play in the X‑ray range. The deci­sion-mak­ing process was not dif­fi­cult in the end.” He was also able to count on SCS for advice on all finan­cial mat­ters. “I have to be hon­est, I have nev­er been so well sup­port­ed in any­thing and noth­ing has gone as smooth­ly in my prac­tice as the imple­men­ta­tion. The instal­la­tion of the H22 was fan­tas­tic and the DVT is run­ning flawlessly.”
