Since the practice opened in 2020, the ROC Aschheim near Munich has linked these pillars of the practice philosophy with the promise of offering the most modern, best possible diagnostics and therapy from a single source. Daniel Filesch, MD, a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery, and his practice advise and treat their patients according to the latest scientific findings and are also actively involved in research and teaching themselves. The practice specializes in regenerative orthopedic procedures as well as surgery avoidance. As of March 2022, the Regenerative Orthopedic Center has an SCS MedSeries® H22 class DVT. We spoke with Dr. Filesch about his decision-making process and the installation of the system in his practice.
Dr. Filesch first became aware of the device through a post on the BVOU site, after which he also contacted SCS for in-depth consultation. The benefits of SCS imaging had quickly convinced the doctor: “The advantages are obvious. It’s the extremely accurate diagnostics and the outstanding image display in the X‑ray range. The decision-making process was not difficult in the end.” He was also able to count on SCS for advice on all financial matters. “I have to be honest, I have never been so well supported in anything and nothing has gone as smoothly in my practice as the implementation. The installation of the H22 was fantastic and the DVT is running flawlessly.”
“We are able to see multiple indications every day with the SCS DVT that we would not have been able to image in x‑ray, and it is among the most powerful and best diagnostic capabilities we currently have in the practice. My team is excited because of the ease of use, I’m excited because of the tremendously high resolution and great imaging, and the patients are excited about the technology.”
