Market entry in Austria and Romania

Start­ing from its head­quar­ters in Horneb­urg near Stade, the Bar­den­hagen Group serves the mar­ket in Ger­many with on-site main­te­nance for indus­try and the ener­gy sec­tor — in addi­tion to leak seal­ing, mobile mechan­i­cal pro­cess­ing and Hot Tap/Line Stop, also with the lam­i­na­tion of pipelines, a heat exchang­er ser­vice and oth­er repair solu­tions dur­ing operation.

With the acqui­si­tion of Gan­gel­berg­er & Riedl­bauer Ser­vice GmbH (GRS) with 10 employ­ees at the Wels site (Aus­tria) and 4 employ­ees in Ploiesti (Roma­nia), Bar­den­hagen con­tin­ues to grow and secures its mar­ket entry in Aus­tria and Romania.

Found­ed in 2002 by Her­mann Riedl­bauer and Her­bert Gan­gel­berg­er, the com­pa­ny is known as a reli­able part­ner for on-site repairs dur­ing ongo­ing oper­a­tions. The com­pa­ny has already been coop­er­at­ing with Bar­den­hagen for 10 years, and var­i­ous joint projects have already been suc­cess­ful­ly com­plet­ed in Aus­tria. For exam­ple, the patent­ed Pop-A-Plug pipe plugs, of which Bar­den­hagen is the exclu­sive rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Ger­many and Aus­tria, have also been installed at cus­tomers’ sites by tech­ni­cians from both companies.

In order to ensure the long-term sur­vival of the com­pa­ny fol­low­ing the unex­pect­ed death of founder Her­bert Gan­gel­berg­er at the begin­ning of Sep­tem­ber, a fur­ther coop­er­a­tion with Bar­den­hagen was the obvi­ous choice. As the new major­i­ty share­hold­er, Bar­den­hagen ensures a sig­nif­i­cant­ly broad­er ser­vice port­fo­lio for exist­ing cus­tomers. Her­mann Riedl­bauer will con­tin­ue to sup­port the new group of com­pa­nies as a con­sul­tant. The autho­rized sig­na­to­ry Atanas Manolov receives sup­port from Bar­den­hagen in man­ag­ing the employees.
