Now Schneider Electric has canceled its on-site participation at SPS Messe 2021. In light of the current Covid-19 infection outbreak, the tech company will showcase its IIoT-enabled industrial automation hardware and software portfolio purely digitally this year.
“The decision to forgo physical participation at SPS Messe was very difficult for us. We appreciate the special atmosphere in Nuremberg and were very much looking forward to the personal reunion as well as the professional exchange. Nevertheless, the well-being of our employees and the health of our customers and partners have the highest priority. For this reason, we are taking our social responsibility accordingly and limiting our trade show presence to digital channels this year.”

Pioneering IIoT solutions presented virtually
On the digital platform, the company will present its solutions for manufacturer-independent automation as well as market-leading IIoT technologies that enable greater productivity, agility and efficiency in the food and packaging industries, for example. In addition to a wide range of networkable field devices and controllers, a whole series of intelligent software applications and digital services are available for this purpose — for example, for the consolidation and evaluation of data. The new Lexium MC12 multi-carrier solution will also be on show as a special highlight.
