Innovative solution through co-creation

Many com­pa­nies are invit­ed as part­ners in the ctr­lX World ecosys­tem to sup­ple­ment the open automa­tion plat­form of the indus­tri­al com­pa­ny from Lohr am Main with their own prod­uct, solu­tion and ser­vice port­fo­lios. Wago is now in on the action and, as a new part­ner, is intro­duc­ing the WAGO I/O Sys­tem 750 and the WAGO I/O Sys­tem Field as sys­tem com­po­nents via the plat­form in the first step.

The goal is to estab­lish ctr­lX Automa­tion as an open automa­tion sys­tem on the mar­ket through inno­va­tion-pro­mot­ing part­ner­ships and co-cre­ation. The aim is to pro­vide users with all the build­ing blocks for com­plete automa­tion solu­tions so that they can take full advan­tage of dig­i­ti­za­tion and net­work­ing. The com­pa­ny is com­plete­ly on track with its #openan­deasy strategy.

Ini­tial­ly, Wago will par­tic­i­pate in Bosch Rexroth’s automa­tion plat­form through the open and sim­ple con­nec­tion of its sys­tems to the ctr­lX CORE con­trol plat­form via Ether­CAT®. The flex­i­ble sys­tems with ver­sa­tile inter­faces sup­port a wide range of indus­try-spe­cif­ic com­mu­ni­ca­tion pro­to­cols. “The com­bi­na­tion with our prod­ucts there­fore gives cus­tomers the free­dom for indi­vid­ual and cus­tomiz­able solu­tions,” says Henkel.
