Addition to the energy-saving family

EBE Engi­neer­ing has fur­ther expand­ed its proven ECOFLOW ven­turi steam trap range with the addi­tion of a full-cast body mod­el in DN40 and DN50. As a result, this ground­break­ing tech­nol­o­gy can also pro­vide sig­nif­i­cant ener­gy con­sump­tion effi­cien­cies in high-flow steam applications.

Ven­turi steam traps are already pro­vid­ing reli­able, low-main­te­nance, ener­gy-sav­ing drainage of steam sys­tems in many indus­tries and at numer­ous com­pa­nies. The lat­est mod­el in the series can now han­dle par­tic­u­lar­ly high steam flow rates.

The mod­u­lar con­cept, which is already used in the small­er flange sizes from DN15 to DN25, ensures max­i­mum flex­i­bil­i­ty in the new DN40 and DN50 flange ver­sions. This allows larg­er inter­change­able noz­zle diam­e­ters to be used and flow rates of up to sev­er­al tons of con­den­sate per hour to be achieved. The DN40 and DN50 types are also cast from austenitic stain­less steel 1.4408. This anti-mag­net­ic mate­r­i­al offers high resis­tance to aggres­sive acidic media and is ide­al­ly suit­ed for the chem­i­cal indus­try as well as all oth­er stan­dard environments.

It is man­u­fac­tured by pre­ci­sion invest­ment cast­ing, which results in excel­lent sur­face qual­i­ty and dimen­sion­al tol­er­ances. All types of the ECOFLOW series are com­plete­ly man­u­fac­tured in Ger­many. The all-cast hous­ing with no welds results in a prod­uct that meets the high­est require­ments of the strin­gent Pres­sure Equip­ment Direc­tive PED 2014.86EU as well as the reg­u­la­tions of AD2000 Merk­blatt W0.

The series Ven­turi steam traps can be used for all steam appli­ca­tions in all indus­tries. They improve the over­all ener­gy effi­cien­cy of steam sys­tems and have no mov­ing parts — mak­ing them vir­tu­al­ly main­te­nance-free. Unlike con­ven­tion­al mechan­i­cal steam traps, there is no phys­i­cal seal in the trap because the trap has no mechan­i­cal func­tion. With no wear parts, the series pro­vides a long-term solu­tion for all steam trap needs.
