Products that have been awarded the ECARF Seal of Quality and are allergy-friendly undergo intensive testing. This also applies to the versatile LRM 500 mobile air purifier. The Remko device has been proven to improve indoor air quality — thanks to HEPA filters that remove up to 99.975% of all viruses, bacteria and other particles from the air.
The seal is awarded by the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). The LRM500 air purifier meets the required criteria, especially for separation efficiency and emission levels of ozone, sound and odors. The seal is considered an important orientation for people with allergies.
The model is suitable for rooms up to 50 m² and has a maximum cleaning capacity of 450 m³/h. Designed in white, the devices weigh only 6.8 and 9.7 kg, respectively, and can be easily placed in any desired location. This applies to private rooms as well as offices, restaurants and hotels, retirement homes, schools and daycare centers.
The air purification is achieved by a 4‑stage filter system. The special filters used have been proven to remove up to 99.975% of all pollutants from the room air. For this purpose, the product sucks in the air over a large area at the back and releases it again at the top after filtering. In addition to the filter system, a switchable anion generator is integrated in each unit.
Various functions can be set and read on the display. Among other things, three fan speeds, a timer and a sleep function are available. The air purifier automatically informs about a filter change. In normal operation — 12 hours every day — the filter set has a shelf life of one year.
