Stationary meter

The sta­tion­ary meter is used for dos­ing acid for heat exchang­ers of gas cool­ers as well as the pre­cool­ers. The goal is to min­imise wash out effects of water-sol­u­ble com­po­nents in heat exchang­ers. This is par­tic­u­lar­ly cru­cial at low con­cen­tra­tions, as min­i­mal loss due to washout results in high error rates.

Using acid meters, pre­cool­ers and washout opti­mised gas cool­ers is a reli­able option to ensure less washout. This com­bi­na­tion of meter and cool­ers is there­fore suit­able for sophis­ti­cat­ed, so-called auto­mat­ed mea­sur­ing sys­tems (AMS) as per EN 15267–3.

The sta­tion­ary meter is a con­ve­nient solu­tion for han­dling acid and makes it easy to con­nect the hoses and peri­staltic pump, opti­mised for small dosage vol­umes. An option­al adjustable liq­uid lev­el sen­sor for mon­i­tor­ing the reser­voir is included.
