Industrial automation and digital transformation company Rockwell Automation has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2022 by Ethisphere, a leader in setting standards for defining and promoting ethical business practices.
This marks the 14th time the company has been included in a prestigious list of companies that stand out for their exceptional leadership and commitment to business integrity. In addition, the award highlights the industry-leading ethics, compliance and corporate governance practices exhibited by the honorees.
“We are proud to once again receive this award from Ethisphere, which highlights our commitment to ethics and integrity. We do extraordinary things for our industrial customers. We’re passionate about the challenges they present because our performance plays a significant part in making work more productive and sustainable.”
- Blake Moret, Chairman and CEO
Ethics and integrity are among the most powerful drivers of employee engagement at Rockwell Automation. Additionally, this commitment is underpinned and cultivated by a culture of open communication, including the company’s long-standing Ombuds program. Rockwell also insists that 100 percent of its board members, employees and contractors complete annual ethics training, which is updated every year.
“Business leaders today are faced with the immense task of making their actions ethical, responsible and trustworthy in order to effect positive change,” reports Timothy Erblich, CEO. “For us, the honorees recognized as the world’s most ethical companies continue to be a key source of inspiration for the commitment they have made to integrity, sustainability, good governance and community.”
The Group was recognized as one of 136 honorees from 22 countries and 45 industries. The full list of 2022 award winners can be viewed on Ethisphere’s website. Based on the proprietary Ethics Quotient, the evaluation process for the world’s most ethical companies includes more than 200 questions on corporate culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance activities, good governance and initiatives to support a strong value chain.
